Common Ground Art Trail

22/09/2020 - 04/10/2020

In 2020, Common Ground was involved in Invisible Dust's Young Curators Programme during their collaboration between Juneau Projects and North Lincolnshire Museum. Common Ground was commissioned to develop a project inspired by Juneau Project's Shoreline, Skyline, Treetop Messenger and themes of biodiversity, nature and birds.

In light of restrictions surrounding Covid-19, our aim was to find ways to exhibit work while individuals are restricted to grouping together in one place and can move around outdoors, taking in the project at their own pace in a comfortable environment relevant to the artworks. As such, we decided on an accessible art trail across four locations in central Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire showing the work of Melody Clark, Gwen Sion, Garry Barker, Anneli Frampton, Laura Alice Thompson and Cameron Lings.
